The District of Columbia Defense Force Association

The District of Columbia Defense Force Association, a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation, is the parent organization for a group of unpaid, uniformed military volunteers who serve their community as the DC Defense Force.

Membership in the DC Defense Force Association is open to all who wish to support the DCDF. Service in the DCDF is not required for membership, although DCDF personnel are unpaid, ex-officio members of the Association by virtue of their service.

Association dues are $15 and are valid for the current calendar year, regardless of when dues are paid during the year. Tax-deductible contributions to the Association, which are used solely to help underwrite the cost of DCDF operations, also are appreciated.

With paid membership, Association members who serve in the DCDF receive a membership card and ribbon, which they may wear on their dress uniforms.
